During my pregnancy I struggled to find maternity wear in general (as prefer being able to see and buy in person and this just wasn’t possible as no where offered any/much of their maternity ranges in store). On one visit to a big brand high street store (who shall remain nameless) I was looking for maternity undies (top and bottom) as the boobs had inflated experientially and the old undies cut across the bump so worked their way down in minutes. I was hugely disappointed with what we found. My poor husband stood trying to help make suggestions as the hormones took over and I loudly proclaimed “why, when my bodying is doing the most feminine thing in my life are the only options beige spandex that make me feel about 90!” (Bless him he didn’t have the answer and gently guided me to a local coffee shop with the promise of a sit down). I was thrilled when I came across Momanda bras in particular this lace hands free pumping bra. They are SOOOOOO comfy and tick all the boxes for practicality whilst making be feel feminine and giving me that little smile when I select my companion (bra) for the day. We attended antenatal classes but during pregnancy and post birth the “boob situation” was the bit I was least prepared for, so having nice bras to wear has been a real boost. The fabric is soft and doesn’t irritate. The design is exceptionally clever! My little one has been unable to latch due to a high palette and I exclusively pump and feed her my breast milk though a bottle, and am coming up to 7months of doing this. I can honestly say without these bras I would have given up sooner. I was able to get the use of my hands back during pumping sessions (in fact I am typing this during my 1am pump session with both hands on the keyboard and pumping entirely hands free) as these bras held the pump flanges in place perfectly. The clip always for easy feeding/access. I love the fact that all the bras come with an extending in the same fabric so they match perfectly!! I think they are excellent value for money and have place 4 orders since I found Momanda during my third trimester and these are all I wear. Due to the “boob situation” I currently wear a bra for a 24hour period and change for a new one each morning, so they get a lot of wear/washing. They have worn/washed really well and are all in good condition - I haven’t lost any to wear and tear so they hold up well! Everything I want in a bra and I may actually never go back to any other brand of bra even when I finish out feeding journey, we shall see. If you are in any doubt just try them!
